You might worry it's a little cheesy. Most couples did, right up until the pour.
The worry
You've seen the forums. Is a unity ceremony too much? What do we say? What if it spills? It's a fair question for something that happens in front of everyone you love.

The minute itself
After the vows, you each lift a bottle. Two colors run down into one frame and fold into each other. It takes about a minute, and nobody looks at their phone except to film it.
Your sand doesn't.
Outdoor ceremony, beach breeze, open barn doors: a unity candle can blow out. Sand can't. And once it's poured, the grains can never be separated again. That's the point.
Then it comes home
Your names and date are cut into the wood. The frame stands on a shelf or hangs on the wall, and it's the one thing from your ceremony you'll walk past every single day.
Put our names on it
